country reserved booth space
this year. The vendors featured
commercial and non-commer-
cial items which included can-
dles, jewelry, children's cloth-
ing, ceramics, floral gifts,
wood crafts, produce, jams and
sauces.
The Best Decorated Fallfest
booths were Williams
Contracting, American
National Bank and the Sachse
Historical Society.
"Our intention was to intro-
duce our city to people from
all over the Metroplex as well
as bring the community
together," Gerstner said.
"That's exactly what we did."
At the various food booths,
fair goers sampled barbecue
sandwiches, canned drinks,
bottled water, hamburgers and
hot dogs, fries, teas, ice cream,
roasted corn, coffee, iced
blended drinks, turkey legs,
sausage on a stick, and kettle
korn.
The Sachse Fire and Police
Departments were on hand
providing security, distributing
information, selling pink can-
cer awareness shirts and con-
ducting demonstrations.
"The officers really enjoy
participating in the fair," Chief
Dennis Veach said. "This type
of community involvement
really increases public trust in
their police department. The
weather was perfect, and
everyone was in good spirits.
From a public safety point of
view I am happy to report that
there absolutely no incidents.
It was a seamless day."
Children had a wonderful
time painting pumpkins or
jumping on in the bounce

Organizers said the Fallfest
committee worked hard to
make the sponsor and vendor
area a premier one-day "busi-
ness information and shopping
center," featuring quality
exhibitors.
Marten said she believes the
2010 Fallfest was extremely
successful.
"Each member of our com-
mittee really stepped up their
game a notch," she said. "1 am
still in awe of this group with
their creativity and commit-
ment to the Sachse community.
I want to thank all of our com-
mittee members and volun-
teers for their outstanding
efforts."
Entertainment Committee
Chairman Dennis Wahkinney
said the The Travis Andrews
Band, playing music of the
'80s and '90s, was a crowd
pleaser and the Union Jack
Dallas-based power trio, spe-
cializing in traditional British
and American rock/blues
styles, was also a favorite.

"Are You Suffering from a
Herniated Disc, Degenerative
Disc Disease, Sciatica, or a
Failed Surgery?"
Dear Friend,
Until recently, there really wasn't much you could do
about these health issues. With the exception of medication
to help alleviate the pain (though the problem still remains,
and often gets worse), or surgery (which has it's own major
drawbacks including pain, recovery time, and no guarantee
of success), there were few options available.
That has all changed!
Thanks to a new therapy called spinal decompression,
herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and
failed surgery can be healed without surgery or medica-
tion - and there usually is no pain or recovery time associat-
ed with the therapy!
So if you're suffering from any of the above health prob-
lems, call me within the next 72 hours, and I'll schedule a
FREE consultation for you. I'll find out what's wrong, and
I'll let you know if I can help you!
So right now call me at 972-429-4553. Soon you can be
enjoying life without pain.
