mation to council and citi-
zens at their convenience.
"The city's new web
provider. Civic Plus, will
soon offer a media center
which will allow live and
archived streaming video,"
Project Coordinator Dense
Vice said.
Vice explained that the
media center will be at no
additional charge to the
city.
"Citizens will be able to
receive the council packet
and will know what is
going on in our city,"
Rainey said. "The stream-

how our government works
and to research past meet-

WISD new Superintendent David Vinson and family,
wife Cristy, son Cal, and daughter Kate.
A 20-foot-high tree was
toppled by heavy winds two
weeks ago, falling on a home
in Sachse.
The house is located on
7000 block Burning Bush
Road.
The owners were not in the
house at the time.
Gusts in the area were
recorded at speeds in excess
of 45 mph.
The owner said it appeared
the tree split above its base
with half of the root structure
ripping apart.
He said it was fortunate
that the tree partially split
rather than being uprooted by
the wind gusts that would
have brought the full weight
of its trunk and branches
down across the center of the
house.
There were no immediate
estimate of damages.
