ing rapidly to a close, the Claude
Mustangs will be looking for
victory number 3 as they take on
Follett Friday November 4. Coach
M E Gillespie and his Panthers
had nowhere to go but up this
season after losing all of theiv

are a young inexperienced ball
club this year with only three

mainder made up mostly of Soph,

Assembled at the annual PTA
Convention in Canyon Tuesday,
Nov. 1, were members of the
organization of this surrounding
area including several members
from Claude.
The day began with n general
session followed by workshop
groups. After a luncheon In the
cafeteria, reports from the var-
ious workshops were discussed
The Mr. and Miss FT A eon-
test was held and the district,
officers were elected. Valuable
information was given each mem-
ber which will aid in future teach-

season. Early in the first quarter
Claude quarterback Harry Wood
gathered in a Vega punt, picked
up beautiful blocking and raced

game. Fullback Bill Wood made
the conversion. Don Mitchell, a
very promising Freshman half-
back, racked up s*x more points
a few minutes later on a dive
through the line

The Senior Class will sponsor
a work day Nov. 12. 1960. All
types of work will be done, in-
cluding housework, yardwork and
car washing if anyone needs
any type of work to be done, he
