lated subects Is being arranged for
Wayside for March'36th. Bob Thur-
mond Irrigation Specialist, Exten-
sion Service, will conduct this meet-
ing. You will be hearing more a-
bout. this meeting in the near fu-
ture.
A few people have asked of our
plans to organize a 4-H Club here
in Claude. Plans are under way and
details to be worked out yet as to
time and place but we certainly
plan to have a 4-H Club here. All
parts of the County have been or-
ganized except here, and with our
grass team to train, fcoys to work
with that have calves going to A-
mariilo, we have Just been hitting
the high places the last 2 weeks.
It certainly is inspiring to know
that we do have so much interest
in getting a good 4-H Club boys'
organization started in the County.

Last week was a busy week, one

School. After the film Vice-Presi-
dent Ben Gillham, called the meet-
ing to order and the boys studied
commercial fertilizers. On Monday
night I met with the Goodnight
High Sehool 4-H Club and we
studied grasses for the Amarillo
grass judging contest. The boys
are doing real well and we hope to
make a fair showing at Amarillo
despite the brief time we've had to
prepare.

ing held by Directors Wilbur Cobb,
Jones Christian and Ralph Bag-
well here at the Claude Commurf-
ty Home and the Farm Bureau
Meeting held by Director Steve
Donald at Goodnight. Ralph Tho-
mas of Pampa showed his colored
slides on Agriculture in Japan at it's a funny thing about ideas.

The Fairview 4-H Club boys met
this last week and studied grasses.
At the time of writing this article
the team that will represent Arm-
strong County at Amarillo has not
been picked. Elimination contest
will be held at Goodnight on
March 2nd.

being able to receive fish through
the Texas Game, Fish and Oyster
Commission. I didn't have the
blank forms which I thought I
of them won't work unless we work
with them.
