Administration
Students:
Hardin-Simmons is nearing her
fiftieth year, and there has grown
up here a rich tradition. Let me
express the hope that these pictures
of college days will always
remind you of happy experiences.
To the seniors I would say
Hardin-Simmons especially needs
your friendship and your influence.
She has tried to serve you
well, and I hope you will endeavor
to live up to her high
ideals. Also, you as a student
have made a contribution to the
old school. You have become a
part of it, and it has, I hope, become
a part of you. May your
devotion to your alma mater grow
stronger through the years.June first is commencementyour
commencement for putting
into effect in the world outside college
walls some of the things that
you have gathered during your
years in school. Having solved
difficult problems in school you
are prepared to solve difficult
problems later in life.RUPERT N. RICHARDSON, Ph. D.
