MISS MARY E. HEAD
DEAN OF WOMEN
The clamor for change warns us that we must keep on emphasizing
the glorious traits of the men and women who made Simmons
University possible; to put God first in our lives. The woman of
today mu-t have convictions. She must be able to look at questions
with cool consideration and to make her own decisions. She must
have courage and the ability to speak for what she believes is right.
She must be kind in judgment of other people, and their motives.
She must be unresentful of criticism. She should be quick to
praise and slow to censure. The ideal woman must believe in her
fellow workers and in herself.
