She dide in 1858 in december I think. as well as I can remember, in east Texas Larrisa Cherokee Co. I am sorry didnot rec’d (sic) Davies letters telling me about his fathers death. Laura Spalding sent me a funeral notice. dear Sister Mattie I will write you along (sic)letter just as soon as I get able. I have been very sick with the grip for three weeks.
