Harold Nagel of this city was
In Buffalo, Oklahoma Sunday vis-
iting friends and sight-seeing for
a few hours.
Mrs. Bob Wilson of southwest
of here was In town Wednesday
trading and while In town visited
with 'friends.
N. B. Fry who lives southwest
of Follett was in Tuesday attend-
ing the Alex O. Laubhian Sale at
his place .east of town.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hawkins
were in Tuesday from their ranch
southwest of here for a short
while trading and visiting.
Albert Laubhan of Woodward,
Oklahoma, was in Follett Satur-
day and Sunday visiting with fri-
ends and relatives. Come again. #
Mrs. Edna Dunham, her son, P. M
Alfred and little niece, Sherly Pae
Nlckell, of Amarillo, spent the
week end visiting in the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. B.
Paine, and her sister and family
Mr. and M!rs. Ira Spangle.
Merlin Laubhan of the Laubhan
Motor Company here bought the
Henry Kinser place here the first
of this week and Glen Frazier, of
the Frazier Hardware purchased
the Alex G. Laubhan pllace which
is located in the east part of town
also the first of this week. We
congratulate these fine young
men In the step they are taking.
Mr. and Mrs. Edd Clark of this
place left Tuesday for Wellington,
Kansas where they will visit a few
weeks with friends and relatives.
Oscar Haines of Sharon, Kan-
sas, arrived In Follett Wednes-
day of this week and will visit
with friends and relatives for a
dUy or so.
Mrs. Chas. E. Brown and chil-
dren of Higgins were in the last
of the past week visiting in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. E. C.
Beum and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Elby Crites and
children of Higgins, were in Fol-
lett Sunday spending the day vis-
iting with friends and relatives.
Come again folks when you can
stay longer.
Sheriff Everett Shahan of the
County Seat, was in Follett Tues-
day looking after some business
matters and while in town was
seen shaking hands and visiting
with his many friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. E, A. Records
of this place motored to Perryton
Sunday where they visited with
friends and relatives for a few
hours, returning later in the
evening to their home here.
Deputy Sheriff Everett Tarbox
of Lipscomb was in Follett Mon-
day for a short while attending
to some business matters and
while in town shook hands and
visited with his many friend here.

and Franchot Tone gives a bright
and sparkling performance as the
dashing broadway columnist.
Mickey Rooney and Virginia
Weidler as the tough youngsters
from the tenements, who fall into
a bed of clover, stand out both as
contributing comedy to the film
and heart interest.
Mrs. Pearl Teeter of this city
left (today) Thursday A. M. for
Austin, this State where the good
Jady will visit her son, Keith (who
Is attending college there) during
Round-Up. Mrs. Teeter will also
attend the Walker Dry Goods
Convention in Amarillo today be-
fore going on to Austin. The good
lady plans to be gone until Tues-
day or Wednesday of next week.
You cian take it from yours truly
that Mrs. Teeter will have a
grand time visiting with her
young son.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chaney and
family of Higgins spent Sunday In
the home of Mrs. Chaney's sister,
Mlrs. .Pearl Teeter. The Chaney
family' left later In the evening
for their home reporting a fine
time while in Follett.
J. E. Paine of Lipscomb, candi-
date for County Treasurer was a
Follett visitor Wednesday after-
noon, up mixing around with the
Follett business 'folks for a few
hours and while here was doing
ablt of lectioneering on the side.
C. E. Whippo, General Man-
ager of the Community Public
Service Company, of Perryton,
was In Follett Tuesday of this
week attending to some business
matters here In the Interest of the
Company here. Come again Mr.
Whippo.
Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Fields and
children of Amarillo, arrived in
Follett Saturday afternoon ac-
comapnied by Mrs. Field's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. King
who have been visiting with their
daughter, Mrs. Fields and family
of the above niamed place. Mr.
and Mrs. King have been spend-
ing the past several months visit-
ing with friends and relatives in
Vici, Oklahoma and Tulia and
Amarillo, this State and other
points in the good old U. S. A.
Mr. and Mrs. Fields and children
spent Sunday visiting here and
come again folks when you can
stay longer. The Follett Times
certainly is mighty glad to wel-
come Mr. and Mrs. E. E. "King
back home again.
Leave For El Dorado
Mr. and Mrs. Alex G. Laubhian
and small son Marvin loaded up
some of their household goods ab-
out 11 o'clock Wednesday morning
for their new home up near El
Dorado, Kansas. Alex has been a
resident of Follett for a number
of years and we are mighty sorry
to loose these fine folks but at the
same time wish them the very
best, that there is, in their new
home in Kansas.
