Miss Francis Klinger, of Lamar,
Colorado, whti has been visiting
relatives in this community was
taken to the Beaver Hospital last
week, after having a severe at-
tack of appendicitis.
It Is reported that Miss Margie
Cllne, the Beaver County Demon-
strator underwent an operation
on her foot Wednesday. Her
many friends in this community
joins in wishing her a speedy re-
covery.
Mrs. Adolph Oherlng, who has
been visiting at Wheeling West,
Virginia, for the past four or five
months, with friends and relat-
ives returned to her home In
this vicinity on September 3rd.
Mrs. Ghering was accompanied
by M r. and Mrs. Robert
J. Wasemann. Mrs. Waae-
mann is a grand-daughter
of Mrs. Ghering and they came
to this part of Oklahoma on their
"honey moon trip." for they are
newly married.

"Human Cannon
Ball" at Fair
Dallas, Texas, Sept. 16th—Clif-
ford Gregg, famous the world
over as the "Human Cannon
Ball," will be one of the big fea-
ture of the 1st Annual Pavilion
Show in the Livestock Arena at
the State Fair of Texas, Oct. 10
to 25, it has been announced here
by T. E. Jackson, president of the
exposition. Gregg ia shot from a
huge, regulation cannon more
than 100 feet across the arena
to alight in a net. It Is perhaps
the most daring and sensational
act ever seen in a circus.
The first Annual Pavilion Show
will be a combined circus and
rodeo, and in addition to book-
ing some of the best known cir-
cus acts in the country, many of
the most famous rodeo contest-
ants in America have already aent
in their entries for the cowboy
Sports.
