A Dandy One
In each of his previous Fox
productions, namely, "They Had
To See Paris," "So This Is Lon-
don" and "Lightnin," Will Rog-
ers worked into the dialog a
complimentary reference to his
old home town, Claremore, Okla-
homa. When shooting started on
his latest picture, "A Connecti-
cut Yankee" everyone thought he
was stumped, but the witty hu-
morist fooled them. When he
named Frank Albertson in the
role of "Clarence as a knight, he
chose the title, "Sir Rogers de
< iaremore." "A Connecticut Yan-
kee" is regarded as Rogers' best
comedy.
