The Baptist Ladies Aid will
have a food sale and will sell Ice
cream Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Sam Hooper and Mr. Earl
Byars, of this place, motored to
Perryton Monday on business.
Mrs. John Laubhan. of McGe-
Hee, Ark., spent the past week
with her sister, Mrs. B. J. Mohr.
Mr. and Mrs, J. G. Schultz are
entertaining this week Mr. Gil-
man Schultz, of Hitchcock, Okla.
Pauline Terrel spent the Fourth
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Terrel living near Darrou-
zett.
Mrs. Glen Phillips, of Darrou-
zett, was a Follett sight-seer and
visitor for a few hours Monday
afternoon.
Glenard Elmore, who is attend-
ing school in Amarillo, arrived in
Follett to spend the Fourth with
home folks.
Glen Turner, of Lipscomb, was
in the Busy Town Monday attend-
ing to some business matters for
a few hours.
Geo. Young, of Borgei;, was seen
in our city yesterday, while here
he visited with his many Busy
Town friends.
W. E. Hicks, of Hereford. Tex-
as visited at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Nathan Hicks, living in
the north part of town.
Mrs. C. K. Patton and daugh-
ter, Jean Marie, motored to Shat-
tuck, Okla., late Friday evening to
sight-see for a short time.
Sam Vincent, living northwest
of here, was looking after busi-
ness in Follett for a short time
Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. J. G. Schultz and Merlin
Laubhan motored to Lavernc,
Okla., Tuesday evening, returning
to their homes here later.
Mr. and Mrs. Homer Worrell
of Oklahoma City, Okla., spent
the Fourth with relatives and fri-
ends, In and near the Busy Town.
Warren BeDell and family, of
Enid, Okla., spent the Fourth
with Mr. BeDell's parents and
brothers, living northeast of Fol-
lett.
Doc. Jones and family of this
place departed yesterday morn-
ing for Wheatland, Wyo., at which
place they will sight-see and visit
relatives and friends for a short
time. '
Grandpa Edgar Stanton and
wife of Oakland. California
arrived here Saturday evening to
spend a few days visiting with
the Fraziers and other friends in
and around Follett.
Skewes will visit in this end of
the Lone Star State through the
summer. Welcome to the Pan-
handle country, folks.
Due to the consolidating of
many telephone companies 'in
Oklahoma and Texas which at
present only consist of the
Standard Telephone Company of
Texas, Texas Associated Tele-
phone and Oklahoma Telephone
Company who now go by the
name of Southwestern' Associated
Telephone Company. We congra-
tulate the Company in expand-
ing its system.
Rev. and Mrs. L. A. Roll. and
children returned to the Busy
Town the middle of last week
from Mobeetie, where they have
been for the past few weeks visi-
ting with , friends and relatives.
This week the Lime Light &
Times received a card from our
friend, Mrs. D. W. Brashear ad-
dressed from Pawhuska, Okla .
Informed us they were having a
wonderful time. And also states
that Bro. Brashear is having his
teeth extracted and of course is
suffering terribly in the extreme
heat they are having there. They
tell us they hope to be home as
soon as possible.
Mrs. Mike Fleming and small
son, accompanied by Mrs. Kay
Wingert, were Busy Town busi-
ness visitors for a short time
from their country homes east of
here Tuesday afternoon.
Miss Thelma Harris is assisting
with the book work at the Travis
Hardware & Implement Company
during the harvest rush and while
there she is making her home at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. W.
Grace.
F. G. Beyea (of course the
name tells you nothing,) of this
place, who is better known to his
many friends as "Shorty" had the
very bad misfortune of in some
way or other while handling Block
salt to very painfully having his
left thumb badly smashed, when
a 50-lb., cake slipped. Shorty is
one. of Follett's busy draymans.
Here's hoping the thumb will
soon be as good as ever.
Mr. and Mrs. Lon Buckner, of
Central Arkansas, visited at the
home of Dr. and Mrs. W. F.
Markley Thursday of last week.
We understand that Mr. Buckner
use to be J. B Reld's partner at
Ivanhoe.
Orval Wilder and son accomp-
anied by Joe Larkey, left yester-
day morning for California, af-
ter spending about a Week in Fol-
lett visiting and sight-seeing. Or-
val is a brother of Russell Wilder
of this place.
Mrs. E. V. Rejd. returned homo
Sunday from Wichita, Kansas ac-
companied by Mrs. Roy L. Wilson.
Mrs. Reid visited at the Wilson
home while in Wichita and be-
sides taking a birds-eye-view of
the beautiful scenery in that
man's town. We understand Mrs.
Wilson expects to be in our city
for about two weeks. Welcome
back Mrs. Wilson as your as wel-
come as the roses in June..
Miss Pearl Neihart, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. John Neihart of
Ashland, Kansas, is visiting atthf
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Brown
and family of Follett. The young
lady arrived in the Busy Town on
Sunday. June JMth.
Mrs. A. W. Kincade and son,
Kay, of this place, accompanied
by Mrs. Tgou, of Gage, Okla., re-
turned home Monday from near
Denver, Colo., where Mrs. Kin-
cade had her son, Kay, enrolled
In one of the schools.
Chris. Schilling was in Monday
morning from west of here shop-
ping and attending to some other
business matters while In our
city.
John Duflfey was In Monday
morning from northeast of here
trading and attending to some
other business matters while in
town.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Bozarth,
of Wellington, Kansas, arrived In
the Busy Town one day the past
week and while here are visiting
at the home of Mr. and Mfs.
Milt Bruce as well as visiting wl'
their many other friends here.
Mr .and Mrs. R. D. Borth and
children moved to Booker Sun-
day, at which place they expect
to make their future home. They
have many friends In and near
the Busy Town who wish them
much success and happiness In
their new home.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duke, arrived
in town Monday, from Garden
City, Kansas to visit with their
many relatives and friends
spending Monday night at
the home of Mrs. D u k e's
sister and family. M r.
and Mrs. Jim Anderson, of tho
Kum-Back Cafe. They departed
late Tuesday evening for Shat-
tuck, Qkla., where they will visit
for a short time at the Kay Duke
Ranch near there. The Duke boys
are brothers. They are old acqu-
aintances of the Times family and
it gives us much pleasure to say
"howdy" to them.
It seems to the Lime Light' &
Times reporter that our fellow
citizen namely Ezra E. Ehrllch, of
this place, has been more or less
"putting on airs" and getting a
little inqulstive this is what we
get next to, that on Monday
July 6th, 1931, a * little son
weighing 9'/2 pounds arrived at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra
E. Ehrllch, In the east part of
town to stay. Congratulations,
and may he develope the good
natured humor of his father and
the sweet disposition of his moth-
er. At this writing mother and
little son arfr getting along nicely.
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Roach were
In from their country home
northeast of here trading and
while in attended to some other
business matters.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Smith and
children, of this place motored to
Tangier, Okla., Sunday where
they spent a few hours visiting
with friends and relatives.
Mrs. Frank Tifflny and three
children, came in Monday night
from Colorado to spend a few
days visiting at the home of Mr,'
and Mrs. Ed. Clark of this city.

place returned to Canyon, this
stAte Monday where the young
lady Is attending school this sum-
mer after intending the week-end

ents and other friends.

and son of California are visit-
ing with Mr. and Mrs. Leon
Courtney in this city and while
here are also visiting with their
many other Follett friends. Mrs.
Coultrup Is a sister of Mrs..
