iar phrase this week to Pewitt majorettes as
they attend a week of instruction at the school
in preparation for the upcoming football sea-
son. The instructor is Mrs. Lesbie Rhodes of
Greenville. The instructions include dance and
twirling routines. Shown in the picture are,
left to right, sitting, Mrs. Rhodes, Glenda
Thompson, drum major, Mary Larke Pewitt,
head majorette, Judy Allen, Judy Daniel,
Claudette Carter and Jo Etta Wright, alternate;
and, kneeling, Carolyn Thigpen, Martha Har-
