EARL LANGHAM
A few weeks ago in Luf-
kin, the United Pentecost-
al Church ordained as a
minister an employee of
Lone Star Steel Company's
warehouse department.
He is Earl Langham of
Longview. The ordination
was the climax of several
year's work for Langham.
He moved through the
Pentecostal process of
holding a local license to
preach, then obtained a
regional license. The ordi-
nation ceremony was the„
final step.
For the past sevfj
years, he has pastorcj
church at Tatum an|
serving it now.
Langham is a Navy vet-
eran, born in Vernon,
Texas. He was first em-
ployed by Lone Star Steel
in 1954.
Langham carries out his
duties in his off time.
Aside from church work,
which occupies much of
his spare time, Langham
has a family of four chil-
dren. There are two sons,
17 and 11; and two daugh-
ters. 15 and 13.
He feels a great satis-
faction in working with
his fellow man through
the Church.
And warehouse employ-
ees were among the first
to congratulate him on
his ordination.
