HOUSEKEEPING ACCOUNTS
—Iwer.v housekeeper should have her
indivdual account and pay bills by
check.
This is the only satisfactory method
of keeping household accounts on a
business-like basis.
There can be no controversies when
bills are paid by check, as the canrei'ed
checks arc positive receipts for all ex-
penditures.
We invite every housekeeper to open
a chockinir account at this bank and
pay bills by check.

aiight be, there are a number of these 100 per centers who will n w r txivi
cue word of praise to our present Governor, hut who, on the other hand,
are hopint; that the adiniiiistration will be a failure? 1H. Isn't this same
crowtl continually looking for an excuse to throw a monkey wrench into the
State machinery, instead of showing a spirit of helpfulness?
In conclusion, I will state that I am a traveling man. who i;i>es all over
the State, and who reads the News every day and can hardly ijo to work
without it. It is my opinion that Mrs. Ferguson is making a wise Governor;
Lat ahe will know when to cease her pantonine activities; that .die is
working hard for the best interests of th|> State; that she is coin; to wrk
a wonderful change in the prison system, morally, financially and otherwise,
and that if she were running for Governor today that ahe would get one-
third more votes than she did before, for the fair-minded people of Texas
know that shV is giving Texas one of the most economical and efficient
administrations that it has had in nianv a dav.
