At a called meeting of the Al-
bany "Board of Trustees, the
following is a synopsis of the
business transacted.
A quorum being present, viz:
Dr. W. T. Baird, Messrs. Sum-
mons and Richardson, the min-
utes of last meeting were read
and approved. - On motion the
report of W. W. Sammons, sec-
retary and collector, was read
and approved. The report
showed that the tuition receipts
to the 19th of December amount-
ed to $175, disbursements, as
per vouchers, $128.80, leaving
$40.20,, which was turned over
lo the treasurer. On motion the
salaries of the Principal aud
assistants were allowed for the
month of December, and the
$46.20 paid to them iu propor-
tion. On motion, the n-Miessary
furniture and apparatus for the
new school building was con-
tracted for, the amount to be
paid March 1, 1886. On mo-
tion, Mr. F. E. Conrad was ap-
pointed to negotiate for a loan
sufficient to pay the first three
months'salaries of the teachers.
The Board reiterated its author-
ity to W. ,8. Dalrymple to rep-
resent ahem in regard to the ex
change and introduction of the
text books heretofore agreed
