The Woman's Home Mission
Society met Sept. 5th at 4 o'clock.
The topic tor study for Septem-
ber was "Christian Citizenship/*
The scripture lesson, 2 Tim. 2nd
chapter and l( th verse was read
by the President, and reads as
follows: "Study to show thyself
approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be aahnmed,
rightly dividing the word of
truth."
Our 1st Vice President. Mr a.
Shofiit, enrolled two names on
the cradle roll.
Mrs. S. S. Oilier was elected
2nd Vice President to fill a va-
cancy since the change of duties
of the different officers.
It was suggested that the
members who persisted in being
absent should entertain the So-
ciety. and was. I think, heartily
approved by all present.
The Society was dismissed by
prayer by our pastor, to meet
Sept. 21st at the home of the
President of the W. H. M. S.

The Texas Central R. R. will run special trains front Waco and FROM ALBANY TO
WALNUT SPRINGS, Leaving Albany at 5 a. m.
Hound Trip Rate $ 1.00

Arrive at Walnut Springs 10 a. in. Returning special trains will leave Walnut Springs
at 7 p. in. Tickets good to return same day.
