Imagine you are on a
magic carpet that takes
you anywhere you choose.
Think about where you
would go and what you
might do. Write a story
about your adventrue.
On my magic carpet, I would go to
the mall to eat, play and have lots of
fun. I would also stop to buy a lot of
things, like a ring. Then my magic
carpet would take me to the park to
play. Afterwards we would go home
so that I could give my mother the gift
I bought for her at the mall.
Keara Thomas, 10
One day my brother Nicholas was
walking through the market and saw a
carpet that costs $3,000. My brother
had enough money, but he didn't want
to spend it on a carpet, but he liked
that carpet. The next day he went to
the store and bought the carpet. The
carpet took us all over the world. The
next day we took a long nap.
Zachary Richardson, 10
Tomorrow
a!king
I found a magic carpet in my house. I
got on the carpet and it flew to
Disney Land, because I wanted to get
away from the house. The next day I
rode the carpet to school and picked
up some friends to go to Astroworld.
We went to the pool and rode all
over the world.
Brianna Harris, 10
POP! POP! As the nacho meat was
cooking my mother told me to make
sure to clean up the mess I made.
After the nachos we finished cooking,
I ate and started to clean the kitchen.
I went outside and shook the red
dusty rug. POOF! Suddenly I was
sitting on the rug singing and flying
through the air. I went ballistic after I
realized how high I was off the
ground. I told myself "This must be
your imagination!" "That's right, I am
dreaming, someone pinch me!" Then I
felt a pain in my left arm, the carpet
had powers too! Let's see....how
about a million dollars or a pink pony.
BOOM! BOOM! As I looked down, it
all appeared at my house. Put me
down, I ran in my room and found the
money and the pony! I said "Pinch me
someone!" This time it was my mom
telling me that I needed a psychiatrist.
It was all my imagination.
Brittany Smith, 10
If I had a magic carpet I would go to
the mall. I would also go to Dallas or
Wisconsin where my uncle is in
college. I would love that! I would
take my family on the magic carpet
too.
Danielle Harrold, 9
I bought a carpet from a store. When
I got home the carpet began to fly in
the air. It took me a lot of places. It
took me to New Jersey, to a
baksetball game and a baseball game.
The next day I took my brother
where ever he wanted to go.
