(Question—Do you think that
Ihrre actually was a flood?
Answer—In Luke 17:27 we read :
"The flood came, and destroyed
them all."
<1.—\Va« Paul one of the twelve
mMistles?
A.—No, but he was an apostle.
"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ.
called to be an apostle, separated
unto the gospel of God." Romans
1:1.
Q.—Does "heaven" In the Bible
always refer to God's dwelling
ptHCf?
A.—The term is used In three '
MDses; (1) The atmosphere, In
which we find the birds and the i
Clouds. Matthew 8:20. 24:30. '
(2) The region of the stars. Acts J
7:4*1, Hebrews 11:12. <3 The place
of God's throne. Psalm 11.4. Where
Christ is. Hebrews 9.24, 1 Peter
3.2-. This is also called "the third

CARD OF THANKS
HOLY HAY BAPTIST
Rev. M. N. Fields, Pastor
Sunday services were excellent,
with Rev. Bateman bringing the
message at the morning services.
The pastor brought the night ser-
mon. Visitors were Hev. and Mrs.
Pierce. Rev. llateman will bring
the missionary sermon on Sunday,
April 29, at the morning services.
Nisitors are always welcome.
Q.—I believe In prayer, but my
fHra>«T< are not always answered.
Do you believe in prayer?
A.—Ail true prayer is mnnwered,
though not always in the way we
expect—not always with a "yes."
R«mcmber. "no" is just as much an
answer as "yes": and the answer,
even if it be "yes," may be delayed.
God knows best as to time and
plate. Then some prayrs are not
of faith and, therefore, are not
true prayers. We read in Hebrews
11 ;fl: "But without faith it Is im-
posMble to please Him: for he
that cometh to God must believe j
that He is, and that He is a re- !
•Warder of them that diligently <
Beek Him."
Q.—Has the millennium started
•iready?
A.—The millennium is a period
cf one thousand years mentioned |
in Revelation 20. Its beginning is
marked by the first resurrection.
(See verses 4-6.) This is the resur-
rection of the righteous and occurs
at the second coming of Christ
"For the Lord Himself shall de*
scend from heaven with a about,
With the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise flrat."
1 Tliessalonians 4:16. These events
Hre still future.
it—Can yon tell me what the
word **bruit" means In Jeremiah
10:2?: "Behold, the noise of the
bruit is come, and a great fwo-
tlon ont ef the north country, to
Make the cities of Judah desolate,
and a den of dragon*
A.—It meaus news, rumor, or re
port.
Q.—How does a person know '
that there Is hope for him to be
forgiven if he has sinned?
A.—Because the Word says: "If
T e confess our sins, He is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all unrighteous- ;
ness.' 1 John 1:9.
Q.—Is the yellow race mentioned
In the Bible?
A.—The word "yellow" Is used
four tlmeg in the Scriptures. It is
applied to hair three times (Levit-
icus 18:30, 82, 86). and once to
gold (Psalm 68:IS), but never to
a race or the color of the skin.
