Mii.W'y
lesson teaches us that the
lewish leaders during
Jesus' trials did everything
they could to find a legal
basis to bring charges
against Him. When it was
all over, they still did not
have any evidence that he
was guilty of any crime or
sin. The leaders, Pilate, or
the mob couldn't find any
fault in Him. Yet, they all
rejected Him.
Through the centuries
this same pattern has been
repeated. Even today, no
one has found any fault in
Him, yet, "most of those
who would not think of
speaking ill of Jesus are
still unwilling to surrender
their lives to Him.
The leaders of Israel,
Pilate and the crowd all
faced a choice when Jesus
was on trial to seek that
which is temporary or that
which is permanent, the
approval of men or the
approval of God which will
we chose.
The Bible says, choose
you this day whom ye will
serve. (Joshua 24:15)
Thank God for Jesus
