$an Antonio Convalescent Center, 921 Nolan Street
We of the San Antonio Convalescent Center were
privileged on last 1st Sunday to hear the mighty
voices of the "Contemporaries" of the Second Baptist
Church, Rev. S. H. James, pastor.
The Contemporaries are a spiritual singing group
under the direction of Rev: John Sanders, Mrs. Mary
Mangum, president and Mrs. Ruth Burns, executive
musician. The music, singing and the message delivered
by Rev. John Sanders was what we call "Hitting the
nail on the head." Everything was carried out in a
superb manner and enjoyed by all who were present.
Our sincere appreciation is extended to our friends,
"The Contemporaries" of Second Baptist Church.
Sponsored by Rev. Grant Hawkins.
