CITY FRONT
San Antonio enjoys weekend of fashion
The River City seemed to be a
fashion mecca this past weekend as
models and aspiring models walked
the runways, showing the latest
fashions for the year.
The runway/music began playing
Saturday morning when the St. Paul
United Methodist Church presented
the Fiesta Texas Fashion and Talent
Show.
Models ranging from toddlers to
mature ladies modeled before a
packed house.
A baby queen and king contest was
also presented.
San Antonio's desire to see exciting
designer fashions was further satis-
fied Sunday afternoon when St.
PhilipsEpisocopal Church presented
its annual Ebony Fashion Fair at
Laurie Auditorium Sunday evening.
Fashions by leading Oriental,
American, and European designers
were shown. Proceeds from the snow
