WEBB ROESER
■
A BEAUTIFUL WF.DDINC,
Mis.- V rnon VV'i bb and Mr Frank Roeser, both of \lbany, w • >:<
married last Thursday evening at m-v-h o'clock at the Matthew M
morial Presbyterian Church, Rev. J. A. Owen, pastor of thi church,
officiated. Sinihix entwined in pretty lacy i ffect. with floor basket-
and vases of white chrysanthemums, wrought iron candlebra holding
many white lighted candles, made a lovely surrounding for the altar
of this Memorial Church which holds so many endearing memories
for parents, relatives and friends of the bride, and for the impressive
ceremony which united in marriage these fine young people. An organ
prelude was given by Mr. Arthur Hrackett. He also played "Hecause"
with violin accompaniment by Mr. Myron I'hales, of Rreckenridge.
Mrs. Joe 11. Matthews, aunt of the bride, sang "God Touched a Rose."
Mrs. Matthews was lovely in a flame chiffon gown, featuring a long
bodice and uneven hem line. To the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding
March, the bride entered with her father, who gave her in marriage.
She wore a beautiful gown of ivory satin with fragile lace, and long
veil of tulle, which was caught to her head in becoming cap effect.
She carried a shower boquet of bride roses and lillies of the valley.
Miss Virginia Mae Webb, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She
was attractively gowned in blue tulli . with silver slippers, and carried
a boquet of pink roses. Miss Dorothy Wendorf, of Waco, as brides
maid, wore coral velvet and tulle, with gold slippers and carried yel-
low roses. They were attended by Mr. Chas. Woeser, of Fort Worth,
cousin of the groom, and Mr. Graham Webb, .Jr., brother of the bride.
The ushers were Messrs G. P. Crutchfield, Thomas L. Ulanton Jr.,
Watt Matthews of Albany, and J. K. O'Connell of Fort Worth After
the ceremony at the church a reception was given at tie1 Webb home,
when the wedding caki was cut and refreshments ■ rv, d. Mr and
Mrs. Roeser left at ten o'clock by motor for Dallas, where they re

CHILD FAILS FROM CAR
One evening last week when Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Nail were coming
in from Mrs. W. I. Cook's ranch home, the door of the cat in which
they were riding, in some way, came open, and their little two year
old son, Riley, fell to the ground. The accident occurred, fortunately,
before they reached the hard surface road. The little fellow received
painful injuries about the face and head, but was not unconscious.
Drs. Murrie and Osborne were called, and pronounced the injuries
external only, and hi is now recovering nicely.
