A wildcat well was brought on
line in Shackelford County with
E.L.A. Inc. of Abilene as the
operator.
Located three miles northeast
of Moran, the well is in a lease in
the Bayland Orphan Asylum
Survey. It is designated as the
No. I ElliotI
On a 12/f>4 in. choke, the opera
tion showed potential to flow HI
barrels of oil per day. Production
will be from perforations at .'1.801
to 11,809 feet into the wellbore
Total drilling depth was 1
feet.
I'low pressure was gauged it
425 PSI.

west of Albany, Kent Waddell I o
of Abilene finaled a new oil pro
ducer in the Heidi Field, Shackel
ford ( ounty.
The well is designated as the
No. 4 Ilendrick Estate, (tumping
18 barrels of 40 gravity oil pet
day, plus 87 barrels of water.
Location is in a lease in the FT
Survey, Sec. I 59, Mlk. 10. Hot
tomed at 4,139 feet and plugged
back to 1,082 feet, production will
be from perforations in the Card
ner Sand Formation, 4,009 to
4,020 feet into the wellbore.

wildcat well 15 miles northwest of

ty's Albert S. Johnson Survey.

production figures on two new oil
wells in the Stephens Regular
Field They are designated as the
No. I R .1 Kelly Fstate "K" arid
the No. Donnell Fstate. Loea
tioris are in the TAP and TEAL
Surveys.
Both wells showed potential to
pump ten barrels of oil per day.
The Kelly well also made 20 bar
rels of water per day, while the
Donnell well made 42 barrels of
waste water daily
Total drilling dept hs were 4,440
and 4,700 feet, respectively. The
Kelly well will produce from per
forations in the Caddo Formation,
1 f>5 to .1,175 feet into the
wellbore. The Donnell Fstate will
produce from perforations in the
same formation at 'I TU to .'!,.'t.')4
feet into t he hole.
Throckmorton County gained a
wildcat producer when Harding
Co. of Dallas completed the No

west of Woodson
The well indicated ability to
flow 77 barrels of 40 gravity oil
per day on a 12/64 in. choke

Operations Co. of Wichita Falls as
the operator.
Location ten miles east of
Throckmorton, the well is in a
lease in the TEAL Survey, A 575.
It is designated as the No. I AB
Perry "AH".
The operation demonstrated
potential to flow 56 barrels of
39 gravity oil per day, plus 750
barrels of water It bottomed at
1,779 feet, and will produce from
perforations in the Conglomerate
Formation, 4,698 to 4,714 feet into
t he wellbore.
The well is located 1,900 feet
from the south line and 474 feet
from the west line of the lease.
