Commenting on Patterson's
pair of first place wins Agnew
said, "His times and places speak
for themselves in relation to the
way Brad can run track."
Agnew added that Patterson
will be faced with running both
events just three hours apart at
the state meet. "Its going to be a
real test for Brad at state," said
the coach. "They have him run
ning the 3200 meter at 6:30 p.m.
on Saturday and the 1600 meter
at 9:25 p.m the same evening."
"It would of course be prefer
able if he could have a night's rest
between the two events like he
did at regional in order to recover
and run his best."
The qualifiers for the state
meet will be participating in a
special qualifier's meet, however,
it had not been decided which
meet they would attend at
presstime.
