taken jobs, eaten savings, disrupt-

ing on the ten ugliest words should '
give it most careful consideration.
The s'.ogan that "Meat prices
are down" is pleasing to the one |
who needs to plan nutritious meals (
with a small amount of money.
Meat prices are lower than has!
| been known in many years, and
still they reach new lows. In fact,
they have reached a far lower lev-
el now than anyone would have
. lh'.>-"ght possible a few years ago.
At the low level' of meat prices,"
there is a range of prices which
; helps in planning inexpensive
meals. Some cuts of meat are more
popular than others, hence they
are higher in price. The less-de-
manded cuts are not less desirable
from the standpoint of flavor nor
from the standpoint of nutrition,
for w'nat they lose in percentage of
fat, they gain in percentage of pro-
tein.
