also appeared in "Gre-

in the soon to be relea-

"Into The Night" is
centered around an
aircraft engineer nam-
ed Ed Okin, played by
Goldblum, who is hav-
ing trouble sleeping at
nights. In an attempt
to cure liia insomnia,
Ed takes the advice of
a friend and cowork-
er, played by Dan
Aykroyd, and leaves
his wife and home for
a fun-filled overnight
stay in Las Vegas. Ea
never makes it to Las

played expertly by
Michelle Pfeiffer.
Diana haa just smugg-

on a wild journey back

Angeles, Hollywood,
and Beverly Hills. On
thia journey many new
characters quickly be-
come involved. The
audience is then given
continuous cameo
appearances by stars
like David Bowie, Vera
Miles, Richard Farns-
worth, and even John
Landis himself.
Jeff Goldblum is
good in his first stair*
ing role as the slick,'
immoral street girl,
that she steak the
show.
"Into The Night" is
hilarious and totally
unbelievable all the
way through. The
climax scene in the
airport is the only
section of the film
that is closely realistic,
and it ia drastic. I'm
talking about blood
aplattered everywhere,
after so much fun and
humor. Thia blood ba-
th takes the viewer b)
surprise, and turns his
mood around much too
quickly.
The blues theme mus-
ic by Ira Newborn,
featuring B.B. King, ia
perfectly set in destin-
ct places throughout
the film. We are al-
lowed to hear B.B.
King's talenta in an en-
tirel) new area, and it
is very effective.
