For the Associated Negro Press
Will your feet stand the foot-
lights? Is your foot appeal up to par'
If so they will have the "thorough
bred look," high arched and deli-
cately and comi»etentIy shod. At
least that is the opinion of shoe
designer. Herman Delinan.
And Delman's collection, which
was recently shown In New York,
certainly adheres to that theory.
It seems that the shoes presented
Iry this designer carry out the
trend toward femininity ns well as
the high fashion colors which have
been evident throughout the show-
ings of other Items of fashion iijh
pa rel.
Pelman is getting quite a repu-
j tation for himself by designing
shoes for some of the world's most
renowned women. It was he who
designed Queen Elizabeth II's coro-
nation sllpi»ers, as well as the pumps
for Mrs. Eisenhower's inaugural
ball. Naturally when he makes a
recommendation, the world tends to
give attention. So If Delinan says
the thoroughbred look, then it will
very likely be the thoroughbrel
look in fall shoes.
Throughout the collection cer-
tain definite trends were evident.
The high arched profile was grace-
fully evident, other features were:
Slender heels to add daintiness
and grace to the foot;
Many designs that reach up
around the instep;
Exquisite combinations of color
and texture;
A decided continuation of the
lovely classic pump;
A handsome new toe silhouette
called the "Facetted toe," that
could well bear watching.
The majority of shoe fashion
colors will be black; however,
there are a generous assortment
of other high fashion colors.
Decoration is used frequently In
unusual treatments.
Then too. the popular "Separ-
ates*' have invaded the shoe field,
and there are shoes with detach-
able heels and straps.
Yes, fashion will definitely be
in the feet, comes fall.

New York, N. Y. (Special) For the

relieving pain, actual reduction
(shrinkage) took place.
Most amazing of all—results
were so thorough that sufferers
made astonishing stat(?Ynents
like 'Tiles have ceased to be a
