at l,os Angeles, going first to Acapulco, Mexico, then Panama
City, I'ana ma; Cartegena. Colombia, South America; Kingston,
Jamaica. I'ort-au-l'rince, Haiti; Nassau, Bahamas island, with
the cruise ending in Florida. Mrs. I.ewis will visit several days
in Florida before starting home, visiting the various mortuaries
in the cities visited. In California, she will visit her sister-in-
law, Miss Katherine I/ewis; and Starnes Kihvard Lewis and
Mrs. Roberta Miller, son and aunt of her late husband. F. K.
Lewis So much did she enjoy the trip to Bermuda, taken not
so long ago. she could not resist this amazing cruise when
offered. A group of friends, her son. and daughter-in-law, were
on hand to say "Happy Landings" when she left international
airport "* Mrs. Woscoc Valese Cunningham. Dakota street,
will leave this week end for Fort Worth, to attend the nine-
teenth annual convention of the Texas State association. Beauty
Cultiirists league. No 47. where she will be the working artist
in the educational clinic to be held October 7 through October
1((. Mrs. Robert > Merniee) Evans, teacher of charm and per-
sonality and teacher in Austin will be chairman for the charm
clinic at Fort Worth. Mrs. Maggie (irice is state chairman of the
hair style show.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bell. Sr.. 1527 Burleson street, re-
turned home last week after spending an enjoyable vacation
in Los Angeles, California, where they were house guests of
their son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. .Tames Bell, and
little L'randdaughter. Audrey Kene. While there, they enjoyed
a round of social courtesies, among them being a barbecue
dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ben King; a seafood dinner with Mr.
and Mrs. K. L. Pyles; Sergeant and Mrs. Ben Richardson of
Compton, California, carried them on a sightseeing tour to
Marineland to see the show of the whale, fish, and seals; and
dinner at Fort McArthur officers' club, followed by games.
Calling to visit with them were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Wilson. Mr.
and Mrs. .lames Corley. Mr. and Mrs. .1. 1). Corley. former San
Antonians, and all sent "hello" to San Antonians. Miss Chancy
R. Smith, a former classmate, took them to see the Dodgers
baseball club in action and then on a sightseeing tour of Holly-
wood. Beverly Hills, MOM and Desilu studios, Forest Lawn
memorial prirk where they witnessed the showing of the two
paintings, "The Last Supper." and "The Crucifix-

association and the Texas Junior Col-
lege Teachers' association.

and W college, and he is a member

Mrs. Kathleen Morris, head of
the business administration depart-
ment. pursued courses in "Occupa-
tional Information" and "Vocational
Uiiidance" at Texas Southern univer-
sity. Mrs. Morris has a master of edu-
cation degree from Texas Southern
university. She is a member of the
Southwest 1 district Teachers' associa-
tion. Texas Junior College Teachers'
