ABOUT AN AUTOMOBILE LINE
P"
Kennedy's Laxative Cough Sy-
rup is the one that children like
so well to take as it tastes near-
ly as good as maple sugar. It
acts gently yet freely on the bow-
els and thereby it drives the cold
out of the system. It is sold by
Cullom & Chapman.
If automobile lines from Carrollton to Dallas and from
Garland to Dallas are paying propositions, why wouldn't
a line from Mesquite to Dallas pay? Mesquite is nearer
Dallas than either of the above named towns and has less
railroad facilities than either of them. Besides what it
would be worth to the town such a line, beginning with
one big machine and increasing the equipment as the bus^
iness demands, ought to pay well, The following sched'
ule is suggested!
Leave
Mesquite 6:00 a. m.

Mesquite 11:40 m.
Of coursc, this schedule might not suit but it strikes us
as a good one. It makes the auto the first thing out of
town to the west in the morning even if the train is on
time. It puts the auto to Dallas, then to New Hope, back to
Dallas and from there to Mesquite, leaving the latter place
ahead of the second train, arrives in Dallas and leaves for
here again before the first east-bound train that stops here.
It gives both Mesquite and New Hope an after dinner train
to Dallas and leaves Mesquite the second time in the afters
noon before we have a train. It leaves Dallas ahead cf
the first train at night, gives Mesquite a 7:00 p, m. way to
Dallas and a way to get home after the show.
