is now on inactive duty in Alameda, Calif., says that three former 152nd members
have settled down to the quiet home life. They are Henry Vickerson, Harlan Tur-
gate and Louis Golob. Col. C.P.Joyce, Div. Hq., is Senior Instructor of the 655th
Composite Group ORC and is stationed at the Oakland Army Base.
Pete Eddis,493rd, has recently been elected Commander of the Herbert Kauf-
man Post 163, Jewish War Veterans, Terre Haute, Indiana. Pete would like any
of his old buddies of the 493rd to drop in and see him Bill LeBright, Div./Hq.,
wishes to send regards to the following in Chicago: Joe Struzik, Bob Johnson,
Wally Brawond, and "Knuckleballer" Matulis. Bill will see you at the Convention.
He also says that he has another tanker in the family, weight 6 pounds 14 ounces...
Vern Thomas, S/23rd,announces that his son Tim has a new brother, Terry, born
May 22nd....Speaking of additions to the family, Alex Bratman, E/92nd, believes in
doing things by the numbers, twins were born on June 24th, Sheryl Caye and Marc
Philip, by name. Can anyone top that? Thomas C. Ray, 66th, would like to hear
from Sam Moskwitz, Sgt. Bill Vanover, Edward Leene and Sgt. Emmie. Tom is
now going to school, can be reached at 1408 Baily Ave., Chattanooga, Tenn
Col. Paul Wood, CO/ 34th, writes that he is sorry to miss the Convention and sends
his best wishes to all attending. Paul recently left for the Philippine Islands rep-
resenting the International Harvester Co. there.
News from Bill Hawkins, 92nd, tells us that Harry Anthony, 92nd, is manager
of Lyon & Healey Music Store in Columbus. Luther Phipps, 92nd, is a telegrapher
on the Seaboard Line. Albert Eason is retired and living in Des Moines, Iowa.
