NO. 2
LAST ISSUE FOR
UNPAID MEMBERS
We regret to announce that
this will be the last issue sent
to members who have not paid
their 1964-65 dues. We hope that
those who have overlooked
sending in their dues will read
this article and send their $3.00
into the secretary before the No-
vember issue goes to press.
After all if a man has any feel-
ing at all for the association
our very nominal membership
fee should not deter him from
renewing. We know that with-
out a doubt many of our mem-
bers who do not renew their
membership really don't want
to leave the association. In
nearly every instance it is just
a case of forgetfulness.
In order for the association
to exist and to be able to af-
ford the thing's it does we must
have a good percentage o.f paid
up members. We cannot print
and mail the Hellcat News, pay
the secretary's salary and run
the annual reunions without col-
lecting dues.
Many extra dollars are spent
each year bringing delinquent
members back into the fold
who in their hearts really did-
n't want to drop their member-
ship in the first place. The
problem is with us every year
but the solution is no nearer
to solving today than it was
ten years ago.
All we can say is that if you
have any feeling at all for the
old Hellcat Division and the
fellows you served with .get that
$3.00 in the mail today and
send it to your secretary with-
out any further delay. Be a
part of the finest most respect-
ed organization of its kind in
the country. SEND IN THOSE
DUES! JUST THREE LITTLE
OLD DOLLARS IS ALL WE'RE
ASKING FOR!

NOVEMBER 20th
DEADLINE FOR
XMAS GREETING
ADS
Due to the lateness of this
issue we have extended the
deadline for this year's Christ-
mas greetings ads from the
15th to the 20th of November.
For those of you who are new
to the association we should
perhaps explain these Christ-
mas ads to you. A few years
ago the Hellcat News inauger-
ated the policy of printing ads
for members who found it to
be an excellent way of extend-
ing their good wishes to many
of their Hellcat friends without
the chance of missing some-
one unintentionally. The charge
is nominal and at the same
time means an additional source
of income to the association
which you can be assured is
put to good use.
Just fill the enclosed order
form and forward it with your
check, money order or cash to
the office of the secretary. You
can write your own greetings
or have the editor write your
greetings for you.
Remember! November 20th is
the deadline so don't put tihe
order form away and forget a-
bout- it. Fill it in and send it
back with your request. You
will be doing yourself a favor
and helping your association
at the same time.
William J. Holt (A/I1IH9) R 3,
Box 35, Baudette, Minn. 56623:
— "We bought a place uip in
the north woods on Rainy River
where it empties into the Lake
of the Woods, Walleye Capital of
the world. Have plenty of room
snculd any of ycu e v e r be up
this way."
Carl H. McCullough (SV/06)
Alma, West Va. 26320: —"Had
my vacation all set for reunion
time but had to change my
plans the last moment. Suire
wanted to be there. Maybe there
wiJl be another opportunity in
the future. Best of luck to all."
