CAN'T MAKE A
REUNION?
SEND YOUR WIFE!
We bet you think that this
is just a gag but that is exact-
ly what one of our Hellcats
did. It seems that William D.
Clifford (Hq/56) of Farmington,
Mich, couldn't make St. Louis
because of circumstances be-
yond his control. Now Bill and
Martha had attended every re-
union since 1953 and Martha
was just as disappointed as
Bill was at the turn of events.
Therefore Bill being a good
Hellcat and a good husband
put Martha on a St. Louis
bound plane so that at least
she could meet some of the
many good friends they had
made through the years. Mar-
tha had a marvelous time and
her only regret was that Bill
wasn't there to enjoy it with
her. Yet there is some com-
pensation because she at least
could tell him first hand of
what a grand affair our re-
union turned out to be.
ST. LOUIS REUNION
PICTURES NEEDED
We sure would like to pub-
lish some of the many pictures
taken at our St. Louis reunion
for the benefit of our mem-
bers who were unable to at-
tend. That old saying "A pic-
ture is worth a thousand words"
still holds true. What better way
to show our members what
an enjoyable time every one
was having. What better incen-
tive than the recognition of a
familiar face to induce a mem-
ber to try just a little bit
harder to make our next re-
union. Whatever the final re-
sults your pictures will do much
to add interest to the Hellcat
News - - - so if you can spare
them - - - please send us a
few prints. Indicate whether
or not you wish to have them
returned. If at all possible i-
dentify the subjects in the pic-
ture.
