Well fellows I had a great sur-
prise the other day. I received a
Western Hat as a gift from Hat-
ters', Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas.
Louis Lapinski is the wheel m
that company. That was great
Louis and many thanks. Looks
like I'll go Western at Cleveland
... if someone will send me a
pair of boots. Leather, not rubber!
Haven't heard from many of
the regulares but from past ex-
perience that is a good sign. Why
write if your going to be ihere.
To keep this column going 1
need the help of all of you. Ours
is a battalion column. Help me.

MEMBERSHIP
OVER THE PAST YEARS
1966 1967 1968 1969
A dull month of mail delivery.
The 82nd has 74 members, which
is a nice increase for the third
year in a row. The goal I set for
the 82nd and myself is 100 mem-
bers by our 25th Anniversary,
two years hence. Rita, my wife,
hollered a little as our growth
wouldn't have been possible with-
out her help, and letters to non-
members.
Postal regulations do not for-
ward or give forwarding addresses
after two years so any current
addresses you have not listed in
the 1968 Roster, please send them
an to me. Your help is needed to
locate these possible new mem-
bers. The Assn. file on the current
addresses of 82nd Medics has only
105 names. Merril McNamee sent
me a complete list of the 82nd . .
I'll need your help on the ad-
dresses.
Although our 82nd isn't one of
the largest in Battalion member-
ship we sure do O.K. at the re-
unions. The copy for this column
is mailed prior to the reunion so
you'll just have to wait for the
September issue to get all the
news. Of course it's much more
fun to be a part of this reunion
then read about it. I hope you
where a part of it.
CECIL V. LAWRENCE, B. Co.

Depot. My son, David will be a
junior at Union College."
