THE
HELLCAT
NEWS
MISS HELLCAT
Mary A. Yenna, Age 8
daughter of Floyd Yenna,
D-92nd.
The 119th Reports
John W. Sharp, B-1 19, 36 Ben-
ton Rd., Bauxite, Ark. 72011:
"For being a 12th Armored man
from the beginning 1 just never
could make a reunion. From all
accounts they are a bang-up af-
fair. Charles Hastings keeps after
me and one of these days I'll sur-
prise him."
Russ Lowe, A-1 19, 15949
Cedarcreek, Saugus, Calif. 91350.
"Haven't seen anybody from the
12th since I ran across L. P. Doo-
ley at Fort Lewis back in 1950.
Sure hope we get something start-
ed out here on the West Coast in
at least a partial reunion. There
should be enough men to swing it.
Since returning from the 12th
to civilian duty I finished college.
Spent one more year in the ser-
vice, got married, picked up three
children. Mike the oldest, just re-
turned from 13 months in Viet,
nam. Moved from Kansas to Los
Angeles, and just recently up in
the San Gabriel Mountains. My
work is with the Lockheed Rye
Canyon Research Center.
My wife and I visited our old
stamping grounds in France and
Germany and they never looked
so good. It's hard to imagine the
miserable winter of 44-45 when
all we wanted was a hot stove and
a good night's sleep.
I enjoy reading about the pre-
sent activities of 1 19th men. In
fact the whole HELLCAT NEWS
is quite interesting and informat-
ive. Keep up the good work."
AMIDIO PASSERO (C-493):
Sure enjoy the HELLCAT NEWS
each month. John Melfi keeps
prodding me to attend a reunion
and one day I'll surprise him when
I can rearrange my vacation
schedule.

Lt. Col. BILL PARKER, Sv-66
and B-134, 2819 B. Shandy Hall
Rd. Aberdeen Proving Ground,
Md. 21005: Will see you in Det-
roit. Sure hope not too many guys
can name the officers in the pict-
ure you ran several issues back.
It could be expensive.
Be A Booster!
T/Sgt. A. B. Comingore, A-92,
7310 ABGR, CMR 4721, APO,
New York 0905 7: I'm still here in
Germany with the Air Force.
I've revisited many of the places
the 12th was during and after the
war. Germany and it's people have
changed very much, guess I have
too. Getting pretty old for this
military life.
Raymond G. Brown, age 13
son of Ray Brown, Hq. 134,
Dear Willie:
Every year at reunion time
you have been having your ever
lovin wife make excuses for you
on the basis you had to go to sum-
mer camp. By my figures you
should have been transferred to
the retired reserves, so that ex-
cuse will no longer work. There
are going to be some tremendous
things happening in Detroit.
Expectantly,
The Cisco Kid

DID YOU KNOW?
In the entire United States
there are only 35 V. F. W. Posts
that have a larger paid member-
ship than our 12th Armored
Division Association.
Note From Bibby Quici:
The Detroit reunion looks
like we might have our biggest
turnout. Our dream is 400
members, but we'll settle for
350. Each year the 56th, 134th
and 714th have a real knock
down and drag out fight for
tops in attendance. Now the
495th wants to get in the fracas
too. It also wouldn't surprise
me if a "dark horse" won. All
it takes is a little effort on your
part.
