Indications when the convention was breaking up were that the Detroiters will try to get the '52
reunion, with possible competition from Boston.
The final business session was conducted Monday noon with the new officers and Bill Finn,, reun-
ion chairman for next year, in attendance.
President John Sheehan presided at all business sessions.
(Stories, on the new officers, unit representatives, decisions of the convention, etc., appear
elsewhere in the paper.)
No report on the convention activities would be complete without a salute to Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Hawkins, chairman of the reunion committee, and their assistants, Mr. and Mrs. Dale McKitrick .
Others on the committee were William Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. John Melfi and George Taladay.
