the 12th Armored Division Association. All
items should be sent directly to respec-
tive unit representatives. "Letters to the
Editor" should be directed to the editor of
the HCN. Direct other communications,
including address changes and dues (with
checks payable to the association), to the
administrative secretary unless otherwise
stipulated.

EDWARDS, ORVAL [SV/44], passed away April
29, 2010, at the age of 93. Orval was life member #884
of the 12th Armored Association and is survived by his
wife Clara and daughter Susan.
JOHNSON, WAYNE B. [A/119],diedApril25,2010,
in Florence, OR. He worked as a logger in Oregon and
as an outside salesman for Florence Auto Parts for 20
years. Wayne is survived by one sister, three daughters,
eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He
was life member #1016 in our association.
MARTIN, CARL R. JR. [A/17], passed away May
24, 2010, in Drexel Hill, PA, at the age of 90. Carl
was a member of the Briarcliffe Fire Company #1 and
served as treasurer for more than 20 years. Surviving
is his daughter, two brothers, three sisters four grand-
daughters, and four great-grandchildren. He enjoyed
woodworking, especially making clocks and furniture
in addition to model trains. Carl was life member #579
of the 12th Armored Division Association.
STRICOFF, LESTER [A/714], died March 31,
2010, in Cedarhurst, NY, at the age of 87. Surviving
is his wife Rose and two sons. Lester was awarded
two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and a Silver Star. He
was life member #1604 of the 12th Armored Division
Association.
TIFFANY, OLGA passed away last Oct. 8, 2009,
in Murrels Inlet, SC. Olga was the wife of Donald A.
Tiffany [B/134] since they married in Camp Campbell
in June of 1946. Don just turned 88 and says he is still
going strong. He is life member #28 in our association.
Our sincere condolences on the passing of his wife.
VAN ANTWERP, THAINE DORIN [HQ/CCA],
passed away May 14, 2010, in Sierra Vista, AZ.
Surviving is his wife Anna of 62 years, one daughter
and one son. He was buried with full Military Honors
and was life member #891 of the 12th Armored Division
Association.
ZEDIKER, CLYDE R. [B/56], died Nov. 25, 2005,
in Newport News, VA. No other information was
provided.
