Every reunion is planned with
your family in mind. In Louisville
we thought the Fort Knox tour
was the greatest ever, until Chi-
cago when our members learned
exactly how a big city police force
operates and now we have Green-
field Village in Detroit.
More visitors see Henry Ford
Museum and Greenfield Village
annually than any other museum
of American history.
On this 260-acre setting near
Detroit is an unequalled collect-
ion portraying three centuries of
our nation's history.
Outstanding examples of early
American art and antiques, and
a Street of Early American Shops
are in the museum, as well as a
massive Mechanical Arts Hall
which includes more than 200
authentically restored antique
automobiles, full-sized locomot-
ives, and a number of historic air-
planes.
Picturesque Greenfield Village
contain nearly 100 historic build-
ings, moved from many parts of
the country and restored in every
detail. Among this collection are
Thomas Edison's Menlo Park lab-
oratory, the Wright Brother's
bicycle shop, and the courthouse
where Abrahama Lincoln prac-
ticed law.
Our 12th Armored Division
Ass'n will supply bus transportat-
ion on Saturday morning for this
exciting tour at no cost to the
members or their famly. (How-
ever there is a charge for entranci
into Greenfield Village (Thi
charge has been greatly reduce
for Ass'n members).
