Murphy, Cliff Bouri will also be
in Cleveland. Sure would like to
hear from those planning to attend
so I can plan a few things. We'll
have a real bash, so lets hear
from you.

In about six weeks our 23rd Morton Grove, 111. 60053
Tank will be meeting in Cleveland.
My family is growing restless to
be on the way, so am I. We
have the reunion bug real bad,
they don't come often enough.
Chris and Jo Mugavero write;
"They're ready. Reservations
made, N.A.S.A. trip scheduled and
suitcase packed".
Joe and Dot Mester are also
ready. He's through bowling and
now tearing up the golf course.
He'll come out of the rough long
enough to attend the reunion.
Their son, Rod, is a very resource-
ful Scout. Seems he needed some
rope for a Scout project and cut
the telephone wire - Joe, said it
sure lowered the phone bill.
We've had no news from the
Aldermans' but expect to see
them before reunion time. Ed

ALBERT POUNDS: "Sure
would like the address of Curtis
C. Slaughter, 1st Sgt. of Co. C.
Any of you medics stopping in
Brownfield, Texas, you can catch
me in The Plaza Restaurant."
JOHN R. BERNIER: "Does
anyone know where I can get hold
of a copy of the 12th Armored
History?"
Our 82nd is running short of
current addresses of some Medics
that are non-members. Check the
19b8 Roster and it you have any
current addresses not listed,
please send them to me.
Our 82nd also has hit a new
high in paid membership, credit
for this, is the fellows that send
"Booster" donations. We of the
82nd, thank you.
Glad to see Ed Dubicki and
John Drane are back in the fold.
The gang will be looking forward
to seeing you in Cleveland - and
Wes Gardiner you disappointed us
by not making Philly.
Sure could use a few more let-
ters. Drop me a line if you plan
attending the reunion. Your name
could start chain reaction and we
could have a bigger turnout than
last year in Philly.
Do any of you fellows have the
current addresses of Fred Gensel,
Alvin Gensemer, John Gentile,
Bob Boise and Larry Keller? Ple-
ase send them to me.

Permanent Memorial
To America's
Military heroes
The Congressional Medal of
Honor Grove is a permanent mem-
orial to America's more than 3,000
heroes in uniform who received
the highest military decoration
the nation bestows, a great na-
tional shrine of impelling and pa-
triotic significance to all Amer-
icans.
Freedoms Foundation has set
aside 52 wooded acres at Valley
Forge, Pennsylvania, laid out in
a design simulating the outline of
the United States. Within each
state area there is a monument
listing that state's medal winners
and trees will be marked in per-
petuity for each so-honored in-
dividual.
The records of the heroic deeds
of individual recipients of the
Medal of Honor are housed in the
Henry Knox Building situated be-
tween the Medal of Honor Grove
entrance and a natural amphi-
theater for public gatherings.
