March is rolling in, we are
thinking of celebrating St.
Patrick's Day, eating corned beef
and cabbage and sporting the
green. Spring is just around the
corner. After a very cold winter
we will surely welcome nice
balmy weather.
We have a new member,
Kazimir M. Smircick, P.O. Box 44,
Washingtonville, N.Y. 10992. We
are in need of many new members
in the Association.

sauken, New Jersey, tells us that
Co. C 119's Command Halftrack
(before Herrlisheim) was known
as "Hitler's Hearse" that was
painted on its sides the traditional
way as were our aircraft at the
time. It was knocked out by a flat
trajectory 88 armor piercing shell
at Herrlisheim. All aboard surviv-
ed—Craig, Cruise, Feltman,
Brown and Nehlig. Captain Mar-
tin was killed 2 days later sur-
veying the damages by a German
anti personnel mine. This news
was really something to remem-
ber from war years. Do you
remember.
Charles W. Bryant, Amherst,
Viriginia was inquiring about a
jacket and emblems for a car. I
am quite sure if you contact
George Moss, 1017 W. Washing-
ton St., Springfield 111. 62702 he
can direct you. The weather in
Virginia was real summerlike in
