A prestigious group in any setting. It is necessary for all
to cooperate in the placement of names on the lists provided by
your Chairman and women. This is not the total in attendance
as more meals than this were supplied. I am also sorry that I
could not list all given names as they were not put on the list.
GEORGE MOSS, Executive Secretary
Presidental Report
In the past month I have heard
from Ken Warnes, he seems to be
real satisfied with his new home,
and things are looking good at
that end, got a letter from War-
ren and Edna Maue and they are
getting ready for their spring
planting, I understand they raise
a lot of tobacco, and what else I

don't know.
Had a call from Owen Schu-
macker, Unit Rep. for the 493rd.
Guess they had a real bad winter
there, at least we know we were
not alone that way. Spring seems
to be there too now.
We talked to Earl and Helen
Briggs the other night, same re-
port from there, Earl said it had
been pretty chilly at night there
yet, better come to North Dakota,
Earl!
Talked to Harlan and Lela De-
Groot, also, all is well there.
Guess he keeps pretty busy re-
modeling houses.
Talked to George Moss the other
night, each time we hear from
one of you guys, it really perks
up the moral.
Guess everything is in line for
the Convention in Minneapolis
now, so now all that's left is the
fun.
We are flying to Boise, Idaho,
on May 18th to visit with our son
and the new Daughter-in-law,
Larry was married the 25th of
February, so now they are all
married off. Hope we pass inspec-
tion as "THE INLAWS!"
We will go from Boise to Port-
land for the Western Chapter Re-
union on May 27 and 28th. Don't
anyone forget our own Reunion in
Minneapolis on July 21st and 22nd.
We have been at the farm and
have things lined up to start
seeding wheat about the 10th of
May, we really could stand some
more moisture right now, but
can hold out for a while yet. I
had my operation on the nose on
March 28th and all worked out
fine, wish I could say the same
for the neck. That's something
else again. Guess it is something
I'll have to learn to live with.
Could be worse, so won't com-
plain.
And that's all for this month,
so till next time. "IT'S GREAT
TO BE A HELLCAT!"
See you all in Minneapolis,
Minnesota in the "Land of the
Ten Thousand Lakes "
