The M. P.'s
This has been a wonderful year
for me. Josephine and 1 had a
wonderful trip to Hawaii includ-
ing a visit to Schofield Barracks
where 1 served as an M.P. in
1936-38.
My son, Jim, is attending
Xavier University and touring
Europe this summer. He'll be
traveling through a lot of the
country we did twenty odd years
ago.
Enclosed is a few extra dollars
to acquaint some non-members
with our great Assn.

Close Race
An exciting race for the "BIMI"
award closed at Midnight, June
30th. The 56th AIB won the
Best In Membership Increase"
by the slightest of margins (one
member) over the 17th AIB and
the 134th Ord. The 82nd Medics
never out of the running was the
only unit that had 100% reenroll-
ment of last years members.
Special commendation goes to
Harry Kettler of the 714th. On his
own he contacted non-members
from his unit which resulted in
seven new members.
What makes our 12th Armored
Div. Ass'n the biggest an best of
all the Armored Divisions? You,
the member, the Hellcat, is re-
sponsible. The "BIMI" although
awarded to the 56th belongs to
each and every one of you.
