EAST BAY SCHOOL
We are improving East Bay
school grounds. Some of the
latest improvements are:
An extension to our new arbors
for swings- as soon as the chain
comes. Watch us swing!
A complete overhauling of the
slide, with new pieces add where
necessary. No more torn clothes!
A new drinking fountain, the
zenc part being donated by Mr.
Tompkins and by Mr. Lane's
skilled labor the drain was rear-
ranged so that we will have no
more mud holes around our foun-
tains. And we will be very
thankful to the city when the
ditch along the east side of the
grounds is cleaned out so that
we will not be drowned out by
the spring rains.
Our beds on either side of the
arbors are all planted with vines
and hard y-g rowing flowers,
which we hope will make the
school ground attractive during
the summer as well as now. We
are also proud of our nice big
shade trees donated by Mrs. Boi-
ling and W. E. Green, and wish
to thank Mr. Sharrer and the
High Scnooi boys for their gener-
ous donation of labor in helping
to plant them.
