National Clapi'toly caused the
usual flurry of excitement..
Still, the fact that the Germans
were building super-submarines
for long distance cruises, was
well known to the authorities
here many weeks in advance.
The action of the submarine com-
mander in savingths lives of the
er«ws of the " American vessels,
proves conclusively that the
United States has slready gained
one of the main issues for which
we are fighting. Before we
went to war, they took a delight
* in murdering every man woman
and child found' upon the high
seas. By their recent action in
saving the lives of non-combat-
ants, they now concede that
point. They will doubtless make
further concessions before the
thing is over. We-will soon be
ready to present a very strong
argument to sustain our conten-
tion on inter-national law, the
kind of an argument that will
appeal to the Kaiser and von Tir-
pitz.

SURGEONS agree that in
cases of Cuts, Burns, Bruises
and Wounds, the FIRST TREAT-
MENT is most important. When
an EFFICIENT antiseptic is ap-
plied promptly,, there is no dang-
er of infection and the wound
begins to heal at once. For use
on man or beast,. BOROZONE is
the IDEAL ANTISEPTIC and
HEALING AGENT. Buy it now

Texas City, Tex.~in an interesting
statement, Mrs. G. H. Schill, of this town*
says: "For three years 1 suffered untold!
agony with my head. I was unable to
do any of my work.
1 just wanted to sleep all the time, tor
tfiat was the only ease I could get, when
I was asleep. I became a nervous wreck
just from the awful suffering with my
bead.
1 was so nervous that the teast noise
would make me jump, out of my bed. I.
had no energy, and was unable to da<
anything. My son, a young boy,, had to-
do all my household duties.
1 was not able to do anything until'!)
took Cardui. 1 took thrte bottles iu all,,
and it surely cured me oi those awful:
hcadaclies. That has been three yean
