Friday morning of last week, in
company with Judge King, f'r. C.
H. Crawford anfl Hartley Robert,
we visited the Hastings school. We
arrived there about I 1 o'clock and
Judge J. A. King touched the elec-
tric button with an excellent edu-
cationa! address. He was follow-
ed by Dr. Crawford who spoke
along the line of Red Cross work,
and made a splendid talk. Dr.
Crawford vva followed by Mc-
Carty and then the speech making
adjourned. Mi so; Maud Golden
and Jewel HufTaker are the teach-
ers in charge of this school. From
this place we made a brief visit to
the Berryhill school where we
found Mrs. C. F. Powell find Miss
Mary Nelson in charge. Here we
had another pecch making show.
From Herryhill school we jumped
back to Post Oak school commun-
ity and found Prof. Herrick in
charge, learning thf young idea
how to shoot. Here we pulled off
another speech-making battle, for-
even settled the problem of rural
education, licked the La> er all
over Furope and make the world
safe for democracy, and arrived
home in tir '• for supper.
