County, shall not be abrogated, can-
celed cr invalidated hy a change in
boundaries nor ahall bonda voted, but
unissued, at the time of such change,
be invalidated by such change;
authorising the levy of taxes after
auch change without further election
in the district aa changed; providing
an exception in the caaa of the an-
nexation or eonaolidation of whole
diatricts; providing for an election
and the issuance of a proclamation
therefor.

The summer revival of the
Methodist Church will be held

be the preacher for the meet-
ing Rev. I.yle Miller, tonal
pastor, will linvt charge of tne
singing. Services will be held
at 7 a. m., with breakfast and
church, and each evening at 8
o'clock.

PLANS FOR HOMECOMING
Once again it's time to start
plans for the annual ex-stu-
dent, and teacher homecoming.
Vic need the support of every-
ene to make this a huge suc-
cess. All ex-students are urg-
ed to he present at 'he next
meeting at the school cafeteria
on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 2,
at :i p. m. We urge everyone

your suggestions and above all

who is an ex-student or teacher

The Willing Workers Sunday
school class of the Methodist
Church, hosts for the occasion,
served punch and cookies to
the 108 people who registered.
Guests were from Dallas, Fort
Worth, Albany and Moran.

The Dorcas Sunday school
class of the Baptist Church
held its monthly meeting Tues-
day afternoon in the home of
the teacher, Mrs. Fred Bank-
ston, with Mrs. Jewell Ellis,
pri sident, presiding. The open-
ing prayer was led by Mrs.
Glen Thames. The devotional
was brought by Mrs. Clell Pres-
tige. Her subject was "Faith,"'
and scripture was taken from
First Timothy, 1:16, and
ftphesians 6:11-16.
The following officers were
elected for the coming year:
President, Mrs. Prestige; vice-
presilert, Mrs. Cecil Harper;
secretary, Mrs. T. W. Wood;
class ministress, Mrs. Roe
Scott; reporter, Mrs. Jewell
ftllis; and social chairman, Mrs.
Glen Thames. The closing
prayer was led by Mrs. C. 8.
Harrow.
Delicious refreshments were
