new high -chool auditorium and to

equipped. The evening perform-
ance was at the Vapor Trails Serv-
i • Club on Dye.-s Air Force Base.
On special invitation, the Fan-
dangle calliope visited the Air
Rase and, prior to the perform-
ance, wa< driven through all the
r- idential section with Bob Green
playing Fandagle music for base
personnel. G. P. Crutchfield, Her-
bert Hawkins, Howard Durham
and Hew Salters accompanied the
calliope on its trip.
Many Albany people, parents of
the young people in the Sampler
cast and others, went to Abilene
for the Sampler appearance.
