After some work, much worry and many very pleasant and harmonious meetings the Staff pushes the
first fledgling out of the nest with the injunction for her to compel the world to listen.
Some think it unfortunate to be a Parrot, but of all birds few excel her in plumage and none equal
mr m the power to talk and the capacity to learn. The best feature is that she says only what she is taught
The Panther City Parrot goes forth to talk for Fort Worth and Polytechnic College. The only reason she
does not tel all that has happened at Polytechnic this year is that she has hot been able to hear it all. The
Parrot goes forth to sing a summer's song to 'The Horned Frog," to whistle and give the cowboy whoop
with "The Round-up," and to learn from the "Sou'wester" which way the wind blows.
