Annual Event
April Dinner Raises $13,800
The second annual "Evening in
Rath City" drew over 250 people to
raise funds for the 1997 "Back to
Rath's Trail." The event was hejd,
under a large tent on the south park-
ing lot of Rath City Steak House
Monday, April 21.
The steak house catered the meal
which grew from 150 people last
year to 250 this year. Entertainment
was provided by Jimmy Lee Jones
of Luckenbach. %
,,The evening was planned by a
committee consisting of Billy Don
and Linda Cooper, O.H. and
Marolyn Weaver, Dwight and Patrice
Griggs and Larry and Sandra
McCoy.
The dinner, silent auction and live
auction of donated items raised over
$13,800. The proceeds are being
used to fund this weekend's Fifth
Annual "Back to Rath's Tfail."
