Tommy Massingill, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Massingill, Sem-
inole, won the welterweight title in the high school division
of the Golden Gloves in the regional tournament held in Od-
essa * Massingill.also received the "Best High School Fighter
Award" at the tournciment. In the finals, Massingill beat
Gary Miller, also of Seminole, who won the welterweight
runner-up spot.
