Unit I, 4-hT sewing girls met
Tuesday afternoon, January 7, for
a regular meeting.
Correct usage of sewing tools
was discussed and each girl learn-
ed how to thread a bobbin. At a
previous eeting the girls had
learned parts of the sewing mach-
ine.
Pictures were made of the girls
With their very first sewing boxes.

rell, Linda Martin, Dbbbie Wal-
lace, Peggy Ruthart, Gay Em-
finger. and the assistant leader,
Mrs. Farmer.

length dress of chant illy lace over
Satin. The fitted jacket featured
elbow-length, sleeves and oval
shaped neckline. A satin cummer-
bund crossed in the back and tiny
satin buttons fastened down the
back. An inverted .pleat in the
back controlled the fullness of the
skirt. Her shoulder-length: veil of
illusion was. secured to a crown
of pearls and she: carried a bou-
quet of white orchid and stepha-
notis atop a white Bible.
Mrs: Robert McMasters of Rich-
ardson. Texas, was. her sister's
matron of honor. Her dress was
made similar to that of the bride
and was of red velveteen with red
satip cummerbund She carried a
nosegay of white chrysanthemums.
Austin Cooper of Waco was best
man.. Ushers were Mark White of
Waco and Jack Redman of Sils-
bee
A reception was held in Spenc-
er Parlor with Mr, and Mrs. Gray-
son, Mr. and Mrs. McClinton and
Mrs. McMasters, assisting the
newly weds in receiving.
The serving table was laid with
a white floor-length net cloth and
centered with a white gladidii ar-
rangement. The tiered wedding
cake was^jjecorated with wedding
bells and served with punch from
silver and crystal appointments.

over' the business meeting it was
reported that Mrs. M S. Doss
had donated S500 toward the pur-
chase, of draps for Memorial Hos-
pital. a project the Junior Study
Club is working on.
